Herbal Knowledge: Clinical Applications, Medicine Making, and Human Constitution Seminary Taught By: Akil-Kuumba Kelley, Frontline Farming’s Clinical Herbalist

This seminary will attempt to unravel the interaction and ancient practice of human typology as it relates to reading constitution. This etheric and somewhat psychic person reading is used in several forms of holistic medicine throughout the world as a form of diagnostics. Referred to as Doshas, Reflexology, physiognomy, and typology. We will analyze ourselves and each other from the inside out as we place each other in loosely fitting boxes and categories that can inform the use of the medicine. Yet medicine, climates, and diseases have constitutions as well – so it only begins with us and will take us so much further. Using these forms of dissection to focus our clinical applications, we discuss usual and unusual clinical visits, and case studies, in this practicum-centered class. Perfect for the beginning herbalist, as well as the advanced practitioner of any form of holistic medicine. This course will bridge the gaps of this elusive concept described by Hippocrates, Mhotep, and the great Chinese medicine legends.
