2024 Season Market Coordinator

Type: Non-Exempt, Part Time, Seasonal Hourly Position

Hours: Evening and Weekend Availability during farm season, 16-20 hours per week June-October

Rate: $20 per hour

Start Date: July 1

Role: Job Summary: This position carries out transportation, set-up/breakdown, in-person customer service, sales and cash handling, and record keeping for CSA pick-up sites and pop-up farm stands.

Schedule:
Market
Tuesdays arrive at address at designated time to set up market. End time is estimated with break down.
8:15 AM - 12 PM 11151 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, CO 80233 - mileage reimbursement applies
This is only on June 25, July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20, September 17, and October 1

CSA
Tuesdays
3:30 PM -7:30 PM @ Majestic View Farm: 7000 Garrison St. Arvada CO 80004
Thursdays and Saturdays arrive at Majestic View Farm at designated times to gather materials and CSAs, load into farm truck and drive to address below:
Thurs 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Sister Gardens: 2861 W 52nd Ave, Denver, CO 80221
Saturday 8 AM - 2 PM @ Celebration Garden 1650 S Birch St, Denver, CO 80222

Occasional one-off and pop-up markets as requested. (Maximum 1x a month communicated with 2 weeks notice)

Other Consdierations: Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently.
Able to tolerate extreme temperatures while maintaining a good attitude.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to bend, kneel, slide, shuffle, push, and pull safely with 50 lbs of product.
Available to work on the weekend (Saturday) and evenings during the week.

Bilingual SNAP Outreach Coordinator

Type: Spanish/English Bilingual, Part time, Non exempt, Hourly

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Rate: $18.29 - $20/hr, 5 - 15 hours/week Plus paid sick leave, vegetables and groceries.

Start Date: ASAP

Apply By: Rolling

Role: This position will assist FLF with increasing food access through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, aka Food Stamps) outreach, education and applications. This position will assist Spanish speakers with SNAP applications for FLF. This position will provide case management services related to food insecurity and basic needs in order to discuss SNAP benefits with students, including assistance with SNAP applications and follow up calls. This position will also need to work independently to identify opportunities to contact SNAP-eligible individuals. Training will be provided.
