This will be a preliminary session for farmers and food producers to develop to a culture of food safety.

Covering topics form the Food Safety Audit Process to GAP Certification.

Roberto Meza and Dave Demerling of  Emerald Gardens & East Denver Food Hub will be sharing their approach,  their process and stories on how we develop a culture of food safety navigating through the Food Safety Audit  and GAP Certification processes.

Reed Smith  Senior Internal Audit Group GAP, Fresh Systems LLC  will be covering the preparations for a GAP audit and what farms will need to have to pass a GAP audit.  His approach is focused on small farms and operations.
