Healing Foods Program
More than a quarter of the produce grown on all our farms is donated to social service organizations through our Healing Foods Program. Some of the organizations we work with include Community Table - Arvada, Commun, Kaizen Food Share and Family Tree. Through this program we also supplement over 60 CSA shares that goes towards SNAP and WIC recipients.
Farm Education Program
Monthly class series are offered at our various sites with a sliding scale payment option. No one is turned away for payment concerns. From adult learning to children's programming, classes follow relevant gardening topics with the seasons. Ranging from plant care to seed saving, to herbalism courses to better your health, our educational series supports local farming interests and sustainability.
Liberation by Land: Greenhouse
The Liberation by Land campaign aims to secure a sustainable future for our community by acquiring up to 30 acres of farmland with healthy soil. Through this campaign, we seek to address the historical injustice faced by BIPOC communities in land ownership. The funds raised during the Farm to Table dinner will contribute to the purchase of a greenhouse on newly donated land. The greenhouse is crucial as it will enable us to extend our growing season, produce food year-round, and cultivate culturally relevant foodways, fostering food sovereignty and localized economies while honoring ancestors.
