Herbal Knowledge Certification for Beginning Herbalists

At Frontline Farming, we know that herbalism is not just a practice, but a way of life that can be passed down through generations. Our Herbal Certification Program is rooted in this belief, and our goal is to empower participants to not only become knowledgeable in the practice of herbalism, but to also become stewards of the land and advocates for the earth and its care.

The Herbal Knowledge Certification for Beginning Herbalists is a health and wellness program led by Black and allied herbalists. The program is designed for beginners and provides practical knowledge and experiences in processing, medicine making, and herbal business building. Upon completion, participants will have absorbed the skills to become more autonomous and confident herbalists, and to use their knowledge to support themselves and their communities in these challenging times.

In addition to learning about the history and principles of herbalism, participants will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in processing and making their own herbal products, such as teas, tinctures, and salves.
