Education Programs Manager

Type: Exempt, Full Time, Salaried Position (40 hours per week)

Dates: February 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023 (2 month probation, renewable per year)

Hours: Monday through Friday, occasional weekends, some flexibility of hours
Rate: Compensation with benefits package totalling $53,858 with starting salary at $48,000. Additional benefits include 2 weeks PTO, paid sick leave, paid professional development, some meals plus vegetables and groceries as needed. For the right candidate we are offering a relocation stipend of up to $3,500.
Supervision: Executive Director 

Role: To plan, implement, and coordinate FrontLine programs that pertain to education, including Farm Immersion, seasonal Work Experience, Education series, and volunteers. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining the schedule for both the on-farm and off-site education, planning and implementing adult education programs and evaluation, ensuring all students and volunteers on the farm feel supported, and overall improving community knowledge about farming, food justice and food sovereignty. This successful candidate will advance the mission of FrontLine Farming and will communicate confidently and effectively about programs, services, goals and values and confidently communicate about programs, services, goals and values. Type: Exempt, Full Time, 10 month Seasonal Salaried Position

Start Date: February 1, 2023

Hours: 50 hours a week 5-6 days per week, alternating.
Rate: Compensation with benefits package totaling $49,882 with starting salary at $45,000. Additional benefits in the form of paid professional development, some meals plus vegetables and groceries. For the right candidate we are offering a relocation stipend of up to $3,500. Benefits package includes 10 months of fully paid health and dental insurance.
Supervision: Farm Director and Executive Director - Fatuma Emmad

Role: Under the general direction of the Farm Director, this position works in all aspects of sustainable food production. In coordination with 2 other Managers, this position will supervise one of our three farm sites including crop plans and implementation, on-site team management, crop health and pest management, volunteer and programmatic schedules, CSA coordination, compost production and purchasing for their site. Additionally, supporting other site managers through team work as needed. This position is empowered to ensure the sites function at peak production and works in companionship and collaboration with farmers and our other sites. This successful candidate will advance the mission of FrontLine Farming and will communicate confidently and effectively about programs, services, goals and values and confidently communicate about programs, services, goals and values. Bilingual SNAP Outreach Coordinator [Sigue en español después de clicar]

Type: Spanish/English Bilingual, Part time, Non exempt, Hourly

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Rate: $18 training wage, up to $20

Role: This position will assist FLF with increasing food access through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, aka Food Stamps) outreach, education and applications. This position will assist Spanish speakers with SNAP applications for FLF. This position will provide case management services related to food insecurity and basic needs in order to discuss SNAP benefits with students, including assistance with SNAP applications and follow up calls. This position will also need to work independently to identify opportunities to contact SNAP-eligible individuals. Training will be provided.
