About The Event
Join us for an evening exploring the beauty and legacy of natural dyes. We’ll learn about indigo and marigold, tracing their connections to African and Black diasporic dye traditions and the patterns and symbolism embedded in these histories. The session will also show how flowers can serve multiple purposes — from environmental care to art.
Participants will engage in hands-on dyeing and make small flower sun catchers to take home.
This event is free but registration is required.
