About The Event
Please join us for our 2-hour, in-person workshop on "Using Grant Data to Measure Racial Equity in the Colorado Food Movement: PART 2!" This workshop builds on the learnings from our 2023 Grantmaker Workshop, however, attendance at the 2023 workshops is not a prerequisite to participate!
We'll start with a review of our project, and then present our ToolKit which will guide our conversation on ethical data collection for grantmakers and evaluators. This will lead us into breakout groups to explore if and how grantmakers and evaluators can support racial equity research through data collection. By the end of the workshop, we'll have a pathway forward for any parties interested in helping close data gaps in our food movement! Â Please share this opportunity with other grant organizations, evaluators, and related agencies who fund and collect data on Colorado's Food Movement work.Â
Workshop Agenda
- Project Presentation: Background, goals, & findings
- Breakout Groups: Data gaps and grant data
- Regroup: Discussion summaries, next steps, & commitments
