While there are many farmers markets who accept SNAP as a payment method, Farmers can also get approved to accept SNAP outside of farmer market settings. If you sell your produce, meat or eggs as farm stands, CSAs, and other direct to consumer sales, you can expand your customer base and serve low-income communities by being a SNAP vendor.
