Peace and Lovender: Explorations into Lavender

On September 21st, International Peace Day we will be hosting a workshop entitled 

Peace & Lavender: 

Explorations into Lavender 

with Zephrine Hanson.

Experience lavender and its many therapeutic and medicinal uses. During our time together we will discuss ideal varieties to grow in Colorado, maintenance tips, harvesting, best practices and various ways to use and preserve the amazing plant.

Zephrine Hanson, Farmer and advocate at Hampden Farms, an urban farm and homeschool entrepreneurial project with her neurodiverse family. As an alum of the Veterans to Farmers program at Chatfield Farms she stewards Denver Botanic Gardens Lavender. Her passion is community healing and wealth building through farming and storytelling. This workshop will cost $30. Scholarships are available. Please email your request to info@frontlinefarming.org.
