Farmer Knowledge: Soil Care & Health

FrontLine's Head Farmer Fatuma Emmad and Assistant Farm Manager Oscar Vital will be sharing their knowledge on regenerative soil health and how to steward healthy soil. This class is an introduction to building a relationship with soil and each other. We aim to clarify and expand on key terms including structure, type, tilth and explore how these relationships are reflective of healthy relational systems and how our relationship to soil has changed. This class will empower participants to understand how to conduct a soil test, address soil needs, and overview general soil regenerative practices and principles.

We will be getting our hands dirty at Majestic View for hands-on learning. Please bring your own water bottle, sunscreen or hat, gloves and appropriate work wear. We will provide the necessary tools.
