A one of our  favorites! Made famous by Jimmy Nardello himself, his parents Giuseppe and Angella Nardiello brought this seed with them to the U.S. from Ruoti, in Southern Italy in 1887. This long, thin-skinned frying pepper dries easily and has such a rich flavor that this variety has been placed in "The Ark of Taste" by the Slow Food organization. Productive plants are loaded with glossy 10” fruits. Ripens to a deep red, is very prolific, and does well in this region.

Maturity: 80-90 days
Size: 10” fruits
Color: bright red
Type: Sweet pepper
